A Different Kind of Classroom

Dynamic. Engaging. Educational.

Modern pedagogy is constantly searching for ways to adapt and improve the learning experience for students and teachers. The Canadian Disaster and Humanitarian Response Training Program is a leader in humanitarian training and education, and the 2015 rendition of the program truly exemplifies this innovative approach to learning.

This year’s program will take place from May 1 to May 17th, with ten days of online e-learning and four days of in-class training culminating in a three day intensive simulation exercise. Participants will be challenged every step of the way, encouraging them to develop the knowledge and skills needed to be most effective in the field. SimEx, the three day intensive simulation, provides participants with eh chance to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom while being evaluated by a team of humanitarian experts. The constantly changing learning environments will reinforce each other, leading to more dynamic and multi-facetted educational experience that is sure to add to any professional’s skill set.

Last chance registration is this week – be sure to apply to be a part of this incredible experience and program!
